Keystone Club
This program is the Boys & Girls Clubs’ leading teen leadership program, designed to help young people build confidence, grow as leaders, and make a real difference in their communities. Guided by a supportive advisor, members take part in meaningful service projects, explore career and academic goals, and strengthen the skills they need to lead with purpose. Participants have the chance to connect with peers from around the world at the National Keystone Conference—an energizing experience that sparks new friendships, broadens perspectives, and ignites a shared passion for making a difference.

Every program is thoughtfully designed to meet kids and teens where they are—building confidence, curiosity, and skills that grow with them. Whether they’re exploring leadership, boosting academic success, learning life skills, or preparing for their future, each experience connects to one of our five core areas of growth. Some programs require sign-up, and many are created or guided by Team MarVan to ensure high-quality, meaningful experiences that make a lasting impact.

Keystone helps teens discover the power of their voice and the value of their impact. As they take on real responsibilities and work toward shared goals, they learn what it means to be dependable, compassionate, and driven. The confidence they build carries beyond the Club—into school, future careers, and everyday life. Keystone prepares teens to realize they already have what it takes to make a difference.
What You Will Learn
- Community Service. Discover what it truly means to be a contributing citizen and feel the deep satisfaction that comes from making a positive impact on others.
- Career Preparation. Dive into exploring various careers and the education paths they require. Gain firsthand experience with vocational resources, colleges, and job fairs that empower you to make confident, informed decisions about your future.
- Academic Success. Understand the importance of education and staying on track to graduate on time, whether your path leads to college, vocational training, the military, or direct employment.
- Teen Outreach. Step up as a leader by taking responsibility for engaging peers and recruiting new members, helping to grow and strengthen your Club community.
