2024 Annual Report

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee continue to be relevant and effective in meeting the needs of Milwaukee’s youth in our 137th year of operation. We are the second oldest—and largest single-city—Club chapter in the country, making us a flagship of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the largest youth development organization in the nation.

Moments That Mattered Most

This year’s Annual Report shines a spotlight on key areas of focus that reflect our continued commitment to youth and community. Among the most significant: a transformative multimillion-dollar renovation of Sherman Park, home to our Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club; a record-breaking MVP Salute to Youth celebration; and the vibrant cross-cultural experiences shared at Camp Whitcomb/Mason. Each represents the heart of our mission in action—equity, empowerment, and opportunity for all.

Strategic Planning Initiatives

This is the second time Jeff Snell is serving as president & CEO, adding to his previous service from 1997 – 2004. The Board of Trustees and the Clubs’ leadership team are implementing innovative initiatives based on the new strategic plan. This will continue to position the Clubs to remain effective and efficient stewards of the resources entrusted to us.
