Youth of the Month celebrates their achievements, their character, and their potential—giving them the recognition they deserve and the confidence to keep reaching higher. It’s a meaningful reminder that their hard work matters and that their future is full of possibility.

Program Information
Every program is thoughtfully designed to meet kids and teens where they are—building confidence, curiosity, and skills that grow with them. Whether they’re exploring leadership, boosting academic success, learning life skills, or preparing for their future, each experience connects to one of our five core areas of growth. Some programs require sign-up, and many are created or guided by Team MarVan to ensure high-quality, meaningful experiences that make a lasting impact.

Youth of the Month recognizes more than achievement—it celebrates effort, character, and growth. For many members, it’s the first time they truly feel seen and valued. This recognition builds confidence, strengthens their connection to the Club, and motivates them to lead by example. It’s a meaningful step on the path to becoming a strong, inspired leader—and often, a future Youth of the Year.
Nomination and Recognition Process
- Club Staff nominate youth (ages 6-18) by the last Friday of each month
- Staff submits nomination with picture
- Winner receives a small announcement ceremony celebration
- Monthly winners are invited to a special Youth of the Month December party
